RIVIERA BEACH (CBS12) – Former University of Florida and pro football star Aaron Hernandez, recently convicted of murder, now faces new charges related to a shooting near Riviera Beach.
A grand jury in Massachusetts just indicted Hernandez for witness intimidation. Prosecutors say the charge stems from Hernandez shooting Alexander Bradley, a witness in another murder case where the football standout is accused.
Last month, a Massachusetts jury convicted Hernandez of killing Odin Lloyd in 2013. Hernandez was sentenced to life in prison.
Hernandez has yet to go to trial for a drive-by, double murder in Boston in 2012.
The year following the double killing, Hernandez, the witness, Bradley, and others were partying in South Florida.
